Create Away can arrange a variety of activities for your stay in the Camargue and we guarantee there is something to tempt everyone.   I am here to welcome you and ensure your stay is a memorable one.

For nature lovers, I can propose bird watching with our expert guide, Jean-Marie or an unforgettable cycling trip with Pierre, a naturalist that explores the natural flora and fauna of the Camargue in stunning natural surroundings. You can also do a discovery tour in a comfortable wide-base canoe to explore the small canals that wind their way through the hidden Camargue, far from the tourist tracks.

For the more artistic, our resident painter, Paul, will guide you through the basics or will assist the more experienced to produce stunning landscapes of this beautiful part of the Mediterranean. You can’t talk about the South of France, of course, without thinking about food and our charming chef, Aicha, offers you personal and friendly cookery courses where you get to enjoy the fruit of your labour afterwards, sampled with some delicious regional wine.

For horse riders, we have the ultimate riding experience to tempt you with our very own Camargue Cowboy (Gardian) – he is so at one with his horses that we have nick-named him ‘the horse-whisperer’. This ride is a far cry from everything else on offer locally and will not take you trotting around the usual tracks but will whisk you off across the marsh and through the wild Camargue, splashing your way through unspoilt nature and hidden territories not accessible to the general public. The feedback tends to be “it was the most exhilarating ride of my life”.

This region is also rich in culture and there are many beautiful villages and towns to be discovered through cobbled streets and architecture, steeped in Roman and Mediaeval history.

The Languedoc has also become in recent years a very highly respected wine region too so there are Chateaux and Vineyards waiting for you to come and discover and taste their delicious produce.
