We are delighted to present you with 3 brand-new inter-connecting workshops that we have launched for 2020.  All three are scheduled during the winter months, providing the most beautiful soft light and dramatic skies with extraordinary sunsets and sunrises.

Friesian Dream

Designed for passionate equine and wildlife photographers, capture the Friesian stallions and Friesian foals, in different locations, in Northern Spain.  From sunrise and sunset shoots on the beach to striking backdrops at the elegant ranch, you are guaranteed the horses at their majestic best, whether it’s feisty action shots or still and serene portraits.

This workshop has been designed as a stand-alone tour, but it can also be ‘bolted-on’ to our new Camargue Weekender and Equine Weekender workshops, both of which are complementary in duration and content.

23-26 March 2020 (bolt on with Equine Weekender 19-22nd or Camargue Weekender 27-29th)
9-12 November 2020 (bolt on with Equine Weekender 5-8th or Camargue Weekender 13-15th)
7-10 December 2020 (bolt on with Equine Weekender 3-6th or Camargue Weekender 11-13th)

Camargue Weekender

By popular demand, we have created a mini Camargue weekend workshop that we have launched for 2020. This caters for those with an extremely busy diary and those with a more limited budget – meaning nobody needs to miss out!

Camargue Weekender

Bucket-list photography of the Wild White Horses of the Camargue, running through the marsh and heading straight towards your camera, providing iconic, prize-winning images.  We also spend a half-day photographing the famous Pink Flamingos and Camargue birdlife, accompanied by our BBC Wildlife specialist bird photographer, who has access to the nature reserve before it opens to the public, allowing you exclusive viewing and photography.  The winter is mating season for the Flamingos so it’s a great time of year to capture their elaborate mating dance and new plumage! To round off the weekend, we will spend a morning photographing a beautiful white Camargue stallion running on the beach, in and out of the sea and rearing on the sand dunes.

This workshop is short in duration but dense in action-packed photography.  It has been designed as a stand-alone photo tour, but it can also be ‘bolted-on’ to our Friesian Dream workshop in Northern Spain, which is complementary in length and content.

24-26 January 2020 (available to privatise for a camera club or group)
14-16 February 2020 (treat your Valentine to an exceptional photography weekend)
27-29 March 2020 (bolt-on with Friesian Dream 23-26 March)
13-15 November 2020 (bolt-on with Friesian Dream 9-12 November)
27-29 November 2020 (available to privatise for a camera club or group)
11-13 December 2020 (bolt-on with Friesian Dream 7-10 December)

Equine Weekender

And finally, we have created a new, shorter, Equine workshop over a long weekend, again catering for those with busy diaries or more modest budgets.

This of course includes our most iconic shoot of the Camargue Wild White Horses, running through the marsh.  We will also do two shoots with beautiful Lusitano stallions – a stunning portraits shoot indoors, using natural daylight, and the Lusitanos running along the beach (our newest horses shoot). You will also photograph a striking black Andalusian stallion running along the beach and an iconic white Camargue stallion running out of the sea and rearing on the sand dunes.

This workshop has been designed as a stand-alone photo tour, but it can also be ‘bolted-on’ to our Friesian Dream workshop in Northern Spain, which is complementary in duration and content.

19-22 March 2020 (bolt on with Friesian Dream 23-26 March)
5-8 November 2020 (bolt on with Friesian Dream 9-12 November)
3-6 December 2020 (bolt on with Friesian Dream 7-10 December)

The dates for 2020 are now available on the website.  Anyone making a reservation, by  31st January, to join us in 2020 for any of these three workshops, will be eligible for a launch discount of 5%.
It remains for us to wish you a great year ahead in 2020, with fabulous photo opprotunities!
